Rehearsal Hall

There are times when the rehearsal process needs to be accelerated...especially in the light of a concert date that might be lingering too close for comfort.  In those circumstances, recordings (in whatever form) play a critical part of a choir members ability to learn and master the notes of any given arrangement.  In turn, with a properly prepared choir, a conductor can spend more time making a piece of music turn into an artwork worthy of performance in front of an expectant audience.

Listed below are some of the works for which we have employed technology (recording and/or midi files) in satisfactorily helping accelerate the learning-curve of our choir members.  This page is a work in progress, so please visit often to see what has been updated and/or added.

Gabriel Faure:  Requiem

George Frideric Handel:  Messiah

Felix Mendelssohn:  Elijah

Franz Schubert:  Mass in G

Antonio Vivaldi:  Gloria

A special thanks to CyberBass, the website where I took much of this material.
